Quarry was a bounty hunter from the dystopic Earth future known as "Dystopia," a future Earth in which the Hulk became known as "Maestro" and ruled despotically.

Eventually Maestro was defeated, but the future Abomination became a despotic ruler in his place. A number of natives of that time period fled to contemporary times, including Janis Jones, a descendant of Rick Jones.

The Abomination sent Quarry back in time to track down Janis Jones and assassinate her. The contemporary Hulk intervened and defeated Quarry in battle. It is quite possible that the Hulk killed Quarry, as his defeat looked rather damaging and he has not been seen since.
