A woman identified as "Mercedes" and as the new "Black Queen" of the Hellfire Club appeared only in X-Men: Legacy #15. Sources seem to differ about whether this is indeed a distinct, briefly seen character, or is actually the newly-introduced Miss Sinister in disguise.
When Miss Sinister first appeared (in the previous issue), Sebastian Shaw told her that he wanted her to be the new Black Queen of the Hellfire Club. She said that she preferred to be called "Miss Sinister." But she presumably share's Mister Sinister's shape-changing abilities. It seems most likely to us that "Mercedes" is indeed Miss Sinister.
