Turner was a member of the Hellfire Club who may have died in the same issue in which he was introduced. Or he may have simply been hurt. He was attacked by a fellow member of the Hellfire Club, using cybernetic energy powers. He was obviously hurt by the attack, but he didn't necessarily die from the attack.

One indexing source we referenced apparently identified the Hellfire Club member named "Turner" (seen in X-Men: Legacy #215) is the same person as the Hellfire Club member named "Scholl" (seen 2 issues later in X-Men: Legacy #117). Both "Turner" and "Scholl" were associated with the Hellfire Club's Castlemere. But this conflation of "Turner" and "Scholl" as a single character seems to have simply been a mistake. "Scholl" was eventually identified more fully as Peter Scholl, also known as "Leonine."
