Mishuki was one of three women present in the entourage of the villainous Shinobi Shaw when X-Men Gambit and the Beast confronted him in his apartment. Shinobi Shaw was in a spa. Mishuki and the other two scantily clan women were pouring him champagne.

When Gambit and the Beast burst into the scene, the women cowered behind Shinobi Shaw for protection.

Mishuki was in no danger from the heroic X-Men, of course. They simply wanted to question Shaw about a group he was a member of: the Upstarts. They left him once he gave them the information they were asking for.
