Clive Sigerson was an actor based in Gotham City. When the arch-villain known as the Joker hit Sigerson over the head with a pipe, it caused him to believe that he was the "Great Detective": Sherlock Holmes. Sigerson, as "Holmes" thought that the Joker was his arch-enemy, Professor Moriarity, and he went on the hunt for him.
