Targo Corporation presented itself as a legitimate company. But it was really was a front for the worldwide terrorist organization A.I.M.

Targo Corporation first appeared in Iron Man #207 (June 1986). In this story, Iron Man was helping Targo Corporation deliver a new satellite observatory into Earth's orbit. Iron Man did not know that Targo Corporation was a front for A.I.M. But as the intrigue of the story played out, Iron Man learned about Targo's nefarious secret.
