Iron Man flew to the Mojave Desert where he encountered a Franciscan mission. In the mission was a friar (who has also been described as a Padre). Iron Man questioned the friar about strange actvity in the area, but then the friar attacked the hero. Iron Man was battling a man who wasn't actually a Catholic clergyman at all, but was really Stryke, a cyborg agent working for A.I.M.
