Agent Pyle was a loyal S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. She had obtained a moderate leadership position within SHIELD and she was the leader of a surveillance team.

Unfortunately, Agent Pyle's surveillance team completely ruined an attempt to contact Captain America. The team was assigned to do inventory work in a storage center in Virginia. While there, Agent Pyle's team discovered Protocide. Then Agent Pyle was killed by a fellow SHIELD agent named Agent Billups. It turns out that Billups was a double agent who had been working for the terrorist organization A.I.M.
