The woman known as the "Leper Queen" has deep and abiding hatred for mutants. As leader of the Sapien League, she has engineered the murder of dozens of mutants. The Leper Queen claims that her daughter, Lucie Page, was killed as a two-year-old child by mutants.

Lucie Page's gravesite was visited by the Leper Queen in X-Men (vol. 2) #180. Lucie herself was never depicted "on-panel." She was already dead by the time the "Leper Queen" was introduced.
