A contemporary man named Reston was traveling in a forest. He encountered the ghost of a woman. The ghost would routinely lure travelers into "The Room." (This was the "Room That Didn't Exist" referred to in the story title.) The travelers would then be lured to their doom in centuries past - in the year 1616.
