Bobby Tyler was an intelligent young boy who lived with his parents, John Tyler and Mary Tyler.

The entire family was suffering through an intense heat wave. Using spare parts salvaged from a junk yard, Bobby Tyler built a fan that he believed could help his family get through the heat wave.

Unfortunately, after Bobby started using the fan, something very unexpected happened! Use of the fan apparently was not what somebody was willing to permit. The fan brought down an "outer space object"! It turned out it was this flying saucer that was the actual cause of the heat wave!

The heat wave finally ended when government agents came and took away the fan that Bobby had created.

It was never revealed exactly who was behind the heat wave or why they wanted to cause the heat wave it. Was it aliens? Was it the government?
