The "Lords of the Golden Dragon" (or "Warriors of the Golden Dragon") were sorcerers who were apparently from an alien dimension - the Realm of the Shadow Queen. Yet they appeared very similar to be sorcerers from traditional Chinese sources, and seemed like characters borne of Chinese traditional religion and folk ways.

One of the Lords of the Golden Dragon was named "Su-Lin." The other three were never named.

The name of the dimension the Lords inhabited was later revealed to be "Kaichek." There were clearly ties between this dimension and ancient China.
