Axon-Karr crash landed in China many centuries ago. He was mistaken by Earthlings for a dragon. A Chinese warrior mortally wounded him, and Axon-Karr died in a cave.

It was Axon-Karr's ship that contained the 10 rings which Mandarin later found and used to become a super-villain.
