Clarion (of X-Nation 2099) was one of a number of new arrivals in Halo City, a Midwest city which served as a haven for mutants. When the ship that brought Clarion and others arrived in Halo City, the passengers disembarked. Just as Clarion was thinking about how smoothly things would go from there on out, her bag was stolen by somebody, apparently somebody who had also been a passenger on the ship - another new arrival.

Suddenly somebody rushed by at super speed, leaving Clarion to experience a gust of wind. It was Meanstreak, a member of the 2099 version of the X-Men team. Meanstreak retrieved Clarion's bag for her and hung the criminal up on a water pole.

Meanstreak called the criminal "Weasel," but this was probably a nickname he jokingly gave the thief in the moment, rather than the character's actual name or codename.
