Fred's Food Shop was mentioned again in Captain America (vol. 1) #169. Steve Rogers (Captain America) was temporarily living in Sam Wilson's social worker office, and he stepped out to go get a bite to eat at Fred's Food Shop. But Cap's trip to Fred's was postponed at this time when Cap saw a gang of thugs beating up his partner, Falcon.
