First Appearance: Astonishing #17 (Sep. 1952): "Drive of Death"

Number of Appearances: 1

Nation: USA

Race: white

Gender: male

Note: kills man with car; hitchikes; picked up by dead man

Rod Wilson killed a man with his car. He decides to dispose of the dead body by putting the body into his car and driving his car into the lake. He hoped this would hide the body sufficiently (or perhaps, if anybody found the body, authorities would think the man stole the car and then drowned by driving himself into the lake).

After disposing of the body, Rod Wilson started hitchiking in order to get home. Before long, Rod Wilson was picked up - by his very own car, driven by the very same dead man he had killed!!

This was a standalone horror story.

Rod Wilson is actually the central character and thus "protaganist" of this story, but we classify him as a villain because of his evil, callous behavior as demonstrated by killing a person and then trying to cover up the fact. If Rod Wilson hit the man on accident, he should have reported this accident to authorities.
