"Wilbur the Great" was hired by Nazis during World Ward II. He was hired to mastermind the theft of oil and gas from train shipments, and deliver these valuable natural resources to a submarine which would take them back to Nazi Germany, the enemy of the United States during the war.
Wilbur the Great used an asbestos-lined umbrella as a weapon. This came in handy when he faced off against Human Torch (Jim Hammond) and Toro, two fire-based super-heroes. But this umbrello was not enough for Wilbur to defeat these heroes.
