"Lefty" is a boy who lived near the office where Sam Wilson (a.k.a. The Falcon) worked as a social worker.

In panel 2 on page 7 in Captain America #139, Sam leaves his office and runs into some of the people he knows from his work as a social worker. He sees the small boy wearing a baseball glove and says, "Waddaya say, Lefty? How's it goin', man?"

Lefty responds: "Okay, Mr. Wilson. Pa says thanks for the new job."
