Note: one of 5 thugs who tried to kill Falcon for Boss Morgan

Slick was one of five thugs who attacked Falcon - and tried to kill him - in the opening five pages of Captain America (vol. 1) #169. Slick was working for the Harlem-based crimeboss known as Boss Morgan.

At first these thugs tried to run the Falcon over while he was walking. The Falcon was able to move out of the way enough that he didn't bear the full brunt of the impact. Then the thugs got out of the vehicle and tried to beat Falcon up, telling him that if he refused to join Morgan's gang, then Morgan wanted him dead.

Slick's name was specifically identified in panel 2 on page 5 of this issue. First, in panel 1 on page 5, Slick turns tail and runs after Captain America joins the fight to help Falcon against the thugs. Slick, fleeing, says: "Split! SPLIT! Nobody's payin' me to fight a cap with super strength!"

Then, in panel 2, a fellow thug (Quint) replies: "Rap on, Slick! Offin' a regular dude's no big deal, but the other [Captain America] is suicide!"
