The Crackerjacks were a gang of drug dealers based in New York City. The gang was secretly financed by the villainous Red Skull, the arch-enemy of Captain America.

Red Skull's financing of the Crackerjacks was his attempt to take over the illegal drug market in New York City.

The Kingpin (Wilson Fisk), however, was intent on maintaining control of New York City crime. The Kingpin defeated the Red Skull in single combat in a match that determined who would control the New York City drug trade. After the Red Skull's defeat, the Crackerjack gang dissolved.

One source mentions Crackerjacks named "Homes" and "Kevlar," but no other source mentions members of this gang who go by those names and we think those names represent an archiving error. But the primary source materials need to be read carefully to be certain.
