Francis Wahlfert was a jeweler who was the owner of Walsh & Wahlfert Jewelers.
Wahlfert was struck by robbers on multiple occasions, apparently by the same robbers.
Wahlfert hired the mercenary known as "Agent X" (Alex Hayden) to put a stop to the robberies. Francis really needed this outside help. If his store was robbed one more time, he explained, he would lose his insurance. Francis made sure that Agent X understood that he hoped there would be at least a little "payback" for the sake of vengeance wrought on the robbers once they were caught. Francis was very careful about how he worded his request. Agent X assured Francis that his hands would remain clean, but that he understood what he wanted.
Outlaw, an operative who worked for Agent X, assisted in Wahlfert's case.
Agent X and his operatives dismissed the regular security team (in case there was an "inside man" involved in the robberies). One of them stayed planted in the store as a "mole" (an undercover person acting like a customer). The robbers finally came back to rob the store a fourth time. Agent X and his operatives successfully pursued and caught the robbers. Agent X and his operatives made sure they threatened the robbers sufficiently that they would never come back to rob Francis Wahlfert, even after they got out of jail.
