El Condor was a criminal in the South American country of Delvadia. He patterned a costumed identity for himself after the original costumed revolutionary known as "El Condor," the man who led the revolution of his country circa 1930. The criminal posed as the ghost of the orginal El Condor, in order to capitalize on the popularity of the legendary figure.

The modern "El Condor" was killed when a statue of the revolutionary leader fell on him. Did the real ghost of the real El Condor cause the statue to fall onto his imposter?
