Two androids (or robots) known individually as "Father" and "Son," and known collectively as "The Final Sons of Man" travelled back in time from the distant future. They came from the time after the destruction (death?) of Baal, the sentient super-computer which sent Mr. Kline back in time to alter the future.

The Final Sons of Man came back in time to destroy Mr. Kline, who had a villainous mastermind plaguing Daredevil and other contemporaries. The Final Sons of Man succeeded in their mission. Mr. Kline was destroyed, and the timeline was saved from Baal's attempts to change it or eradicate it. The Final Sons of Man also destroyed Baal itself.
