Martin Foster was a publisher who made a deal with Copperhead author Walter Krantz and original Copperhead publisher Milton Wexler to reprint classic pulp fiction Copperhead stories in a new series of paperback books.

Before Foster could carry out his plan, he was attacked by Copperhead (actually Lawrence Chesney adopting the fictional identity). Fortunately, Foster was saved by Daredevil.
