Dr. Barret was working in an emergency room ward (E.R.) in a hospital when the frantic mother of a missing boy named Tim rushed up to him. She said her son is a haemophiliac and that is missing.

Not surprisingly, Dr. Barret told the woman to call the police. She said she had already done so, but they said could not do anything.

Dr. Barret was outraged, so he called the NYPD himself. They said they had too much on their hands, with a mad bomber out there blowing up buildings in New York.
