In the Ultimate Universe, when Captain America visited his aging friend Bucky Barnes for dinner, Bucky's nephew Grant and Grant's wife Sharon were there as well. Grant had brought his big Newfoundland dog Hobbes, which turned out to be a Chitauri spy. When the Chitauri/dog's subterfuge was exposed, Hobbes attacked the family and was ultimately defeated and killed by Captain America.
