The massive man known only as "Baby Elmo" was a patron at the Last Exit Bar in Hell's Kitchen (New York City).
When Johnny Storm (the Human Torch) was looking for Daredevil (who was missing, after being beaten by Typhoid Mary and her hired rogues), he encountered Baby Elmo. The two of them ended up getting into a fist fight.
