Angela Parish was apparently abducted right off a New York City street by the villainous Mr. Hyde. She was taken to a warehouse owned by Norman Osborn, where she was killed by the villain known as the Eel.

Some time after Ms. Parish was killed, the long-time Daredevil foe Mister Hyde (Calvin Zabo) was accused of murdering her. Matt Murdock's law partner Rosalind Sharpe wanted him to defend him. As Daredevil, Murdock investigated the case and found out that Mister Hyde did NOT kill Angela Parish. He therefore agreed to do everything to defend Hyde in a court of law.
