Summary of Icon #37 (Sep. 1996), from now-defunct webpage at http://milestone.luthor.com/comics_detail.asp?ID=222&:

Icon and Rocket wait to re-enter the earth's atmosphere. Icon tells Rocket a story from his past on earth. A story of the 1920's. Augustus was a successful lawyer during the 1920's. He had a practice with Samuel Katz. Together they decided to take a case against prohibition. Augustus gets caught in a war between gangster, Jack Danlabiote and the cops. Lillian Rand convinces Augustus to use his powers to stop Danlabiote. Augustus successfully defeats Danlabiote, even though that didn't really have a positive impact on Harlem.
