The Darrow family (a husband, wife, and an infant) lived in the Vasko family home after Painkiller Jane's parents died.

In Painkiller Jane (vol. 1) #0, Painkiller Jane recalls her transformation from police officer Jane Vasko into the vigilante Painkiller Jane. Subjected to a dangerous drug cocktail by the drug lords (the Blanco Brothers), Jane Vasko spent two years in a coma. After she woke up, her mind was somewhat addled. She left the hospital without telling the staff and went to her family's home. She saw that her parents no longer lived there. The name on the mailbox read "The Darrows." Jane peered through the front window and saw a happy husband, wife, and infant, dressed as a pumpkin. (It was Halloween.)
