Ms. Throckmorton was a customer at a department store Emma Frost worked at briefly right after leaving high school after she graduated from high school.

Ms. Throckmorton's dog (a poodle named Nugget) urinated on the floor in the store. Emma Frost tried to get the customer and dog to go outside. Emma's boss at the store told Emma to clean up the mess, and Emma responded by insulting her. This got Emma fired. This was the third job she had in only two weeks.
