Aubrey Chilton was the adoptive father of Astrid Bloom, a friend (and eventual foe) of Emma Frost while Emma was a college student at Empire State University.

In flashbacks, it was revealed that Aubrey Chilton was also the father of Yvonne Chilton. After Astrid's biological father died, Astrid's mother married Aubrey. Astrid controlled Yvonne and forced her to kill Aubrey, her own father.
