Mrs. Bloom was married to Mr. Bloom. They were the parents of Astrid Bloom, who became a friend (and eventually enemy) of Emma Frost while they were both students at Empire State University.
In flashbacks, it was revealed that Mr. Bloom died. His wife (Mrs. Bloom) remarried. She married Aubrey Chilton. The couple had daughter together: Yvonne Chilton. Under Astrid Bloom's control, Yvonne killed both of her parents: Mrs. Bloom Chilton and Aubrey Chilton.
