Captain America defended an elderly Coney Island man (Jacob Kirsch) from a gang (the Coney Island Cruisers). After battling the gang and driving them away, the man talked to the super-hero. Jacob explained how the gang had been harassing him, trying to get him to leave the apartment he rented in a nearly-abandoned building. Captain America decided to help Jacob. He tracked the gang down at a "certain area watering hole" and confronted them there. Pages 4 through 7 in Captain America (vol. 1) #240 (Dec. 1979) take place in the bar where the Coney Island Cruisers hang out. The establishing shot shown in panel 2 on page 4 shows the name of the bar: "Duffy's Bar and Grill."
