On Father's Day, Flash Thompson (the super-agent known as "Venom") recalled many unfortunate incidents from his life in which his father displayed a rather unsavory, hateful side. Flash recalled one time when he rushed home and told his parents that he had made the winning play for his football team. His father didn't care about that. His father told Flash about Flash's cousin, who had just graduated from medical school, which his father stated was a much more impressive accomplishment.
