Plot summary for Wise Son: The White Wolf #1 (Nov. 1996), from now-defunct web page at

A white man is beaten to death by some blacks in Paris Island. The Syndicate is throwing Wise Son a party, which he bails on. A Minister Wyatt is preaching for black self-empowerment under the religion of a Muslim sect. Wise Son stumbles into a third world book store and sees Minister Wyatt. He is also confronted by the store owner as to his position on life. Minister Wyatt is then beaten to death by some masked men. Hildegard (Wise Son's cousin) has a date and struggles to get by in life taking care of Edmund, Wise Son's kid. Wise Son picks up a girl and they end up at a hotel were he dreams of the White Wolf.
