Agent Morelli was a regular uniformed S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who appears as a minor character in X-Men Forever (vol. 2) #2 (Aug. 2009).

A large number of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents were on the scene in Central Park, New York City, where the adamantium-laced skeleton of the mutant Wolverine was found. Agent Gabe Jones Jr. reported the sad news to SHIELD director Nick Fury, who was at that time at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, overseeing the X-Men.

While reporting (over a com link) to Nick Fury, Jones saw Morelli talking to a young girl (who looked like she was around 12 years old) wearing a hood. Morelli was saying: "Will you stop buggin' me, little girl? Ain't it way past your bedtime? How 'bout you do us both a favor an' scoot yourself home."

Agent Jones approached Morelli and asked: "Talking to yourself, Morelli?"

Morelli responded: "Just got a civilian who won't quit pesterin' me about the scene."

Agent Jones said: "Ever stop to consider she might actually know something? I want to talk to her. Where is she?"

Morelli scratched his head, looking around, and said: "Man, she's been pesterin' me pretty much since we arrived. An now she decides to take a hike!"

Although the apparently thick-headed Morelli does not know it, the girl he had been talking to will later be revealed to readers to be "Li'l Ro," a de-aged version of the mutant Storm. Ro really did have valuable information she was trying to provide to SHIELD. She witnessed an adult version of Storm (actually a bio-synthetic clone later known as "Perfect Storm") killing Wolverine using her lightning powers.

But SHIELD would not receive Ro's information for some time, because Morelli told the girl to go away rather than listening to what she had to say.
