Justice passed out in an alley and was unconscious for some time. When he awoke, snow was heavy on this back. Not far from him, an evil man mugged a woman and killed her by slicing her throat with a knife. Justice tried to "judge" (kill) the man with his sword hand, but his power did not work right due to the recent corruption of his aura. The mugger escaped.
Frustrated that his compromised condition rendered him unable to effectively execute evil-doers, Justice went and bought a gun from an illegal gun dealer.
