Two cops in a small town saw Justice, who was wandering after being wounded in battle. The cops thought Justice was a vagrant. They approached him and Justice fled. The cops ran after Justice. He used his powers to elude the cops by creating a shield in front of them. Then Justice slipped into a van to rest and recover from his wounds.
