After failing in his mission to assassinate British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher (due to interference from Spitfire and the Troubleshooters), Steel Hawk returned to his home. He found it had been ransacked, and he found a vagrant living there. He asked the man who had broken into his home and ransacked the place. The homeless man told him what he had seen, and his story described Steel Hawk's recurring foes: Jenny Swensen (Spitfire) and her M.I.T. students, a group known as the Troubleshooters.
After the hobo told Steel Hawk everything he knew about the situation, Steel Hawk killed the helpless man.
