During the 1930s in New York City, "The Phantom of Walpole Towers" was supposedly a ghost or some sort of phantom which haunted the Walpole Towers building owned by millionaire Herbert Walpole. The actual "Phantom of Walpole Towers" was never seen, but when masked hero Night Raven investigated Herbert Walpole's death (by poison), Night Raven was mistaken for the Phantom.

The Phantom of Walpole Towers may have been a purely fictional or legendary figure.
