On the battlefront in Area 0D, Team Cara provided valuable supplies to Team Legends. But the two teams ended up getting into a dispute when Team Cara's leader Lilac dropped dead from un-treated injuries. Team Legends leader Sam was furious at the two remaining Team Cara members (Edo and Graydon). She believed they forced Lilac to march to meet their rendezvous deadline rather than giving her much-needed medical treatment. In her anger, Sam shot and killed Graydon.

Sam's shooting of Graydon may seem shocking, but it seems likely that Sam's action was at least partially the result of violence welling up within her after she was infected by zombie spores. When she shot Graydon, she was only moments away from becoming a full-fledged zombie.

Edo protested Graydon's death. Sam's teammates Ander, Ace and Angeal killed Edo.

Thus, all three members of Team Cara were dead shortly after they made their rendezvous with Team Legends.
