Sylvester Cole led a group of goons who tried to murder a steeplejack. The costumed hero Firebrand stopped them. But Cole would refused to divulge who he was working for. Later Firebrand figured out that Baron von Hanson was the leader of the criminal plot, and thwarted his plans.
