The Martian Manhunter temporarily adopted an alternative super-heroic identity: Bloodwynd. In this guise, he was an overt practitioner of the occult, apparently even to a religious extent. This was simply a cover identity, however.
Martian Manhunter first appeared as as "Bloodwynd" in Justice League America #76 (July 1993).
