A woman named "Kitty" appears prominently in Justice League of America (vol. 1) #127 (Feb. 1976). She accompanies Clark Kent and Steve Lombard to a faith-healing rally led by Simon Ellis. Clark attended at Steve's invitation, without really knowing what the event was before he arrived.

Kitty is clearly familiar with Clark and Steve. Is she a co-worker from The Daily Planet? To make one thing clear, she is NOT Cat Grant, being referred to by the nickname "Kitty." Cat Grant is a prominent Superman character and Daily Planet employee, but she was not introduced until 11 years after this issue of Justice League of America was published.
