The "Sinbad" who was featured as a member of "Freedom Force" in the animated TV series that ran only five issues was apparently supposed to be the actual legendary Sinbad, and not simply a modern person who adopted the name. The heroine Isis gathered Sinbad and a number of other heroes from throughout the world and throughout time, using the Valley of Time, in order to join together and combat evil. Fellow legendary heroes Hercules and Merlin were also on the team.
