While working as a reporter at the Daily Bugle, Ms. Ryan was targeted by a crazy person who wanted her to use the newspaper to tell the world that Richard Nixon is an alien. When the newspaper refused to publish such a story, the crazy person killed Christine Ryan's dog, prompting her to quit her job and work at her mother's catering business.
