Sarge: "...the 6th day Rogers has missed... He'd be in for a good talking-to, if Muldoon were here-- but Muldoon ISN'T here. Up on charges-- doesn't seem possible."
Daniels: "...I think he was framed."
Sarge: "...I think you're right. Muldoon's a darn good cop!"
Courtney: "Muldoon. he put Rogers in my patrol car--! Maybe I should talk to HIM."
Note: Bob Courtney, police partner of Steve Rogers (Captain America) is frustrated by Steve's frequent disappearances. He decides to talk to Sgt. Muldoon about it.
Captain America (vol. 1) #160 (Apr. 1973): "Enter: Solarr!", page 2, panels 2, 4:
Captain America: "--since it was the Cowled Commander's flunky, the Viper, who inadvertently injected me with the herbs... to give my my added power ...and these die-hards are the last of the Cowled Commander's Crime Wave!"
Note: In the beginning of this issue, Captain America and Falcon are mopping up the last of the Cowled Commander's gang.
