The Avengers (vol. 1) #2 (Nov. 1963): "The Avengers Battle... the Space Phantom", pages 3, 21, etc.:
(pg. 3) Space Phantom: "For they will be the real test! If I can destroy the Avengers single-handed, then no power on Earth can stop the total invasion of my people!"
(pg. 21) Space Phantom: "Now the battle reaches its final phase! One I have vanquished you, Thor, all of Earth will feel the fury of the attack by the Phantoms from Space!"
Note: The Space Phantom is featured prominently. He makes multiple references to his race, which he at one point calls "the Phantoms from Space." He tries to prepare the path for them to conquer Earth.
