"Poor Papa" was produced in 1927 before "Trolly Troubles" was made, but Universal Pictures rejected it because of poor production quality and because Oswald looked too old. "Trolly Troubles" was then made, with a younger-looking Oswald, and was the first-ever public appearance of Oswald. "Poor Papa" was released later, in 1928.
